Okay, so from so so long ago, the little cowboy post, I finally got my schedule to align with this wonderful family's. I work with Kayla, and she is a super fun person to work with. I learn so much from her, and it is really because of her teachings that I was able to become the Lead Teacher in my classroom. Her son is Hilarious and I love seeing him be the little boy that he is! Here are you pictures Kayla and Beau (finally) and I hope you loved them!

This little man (or who once was a little man) I have known for a LOT of years...practically his whole life. He and his family have been our wonderful neighbors for EVER!!! He is a senior now and it's so so crazy to see people grow up right before your eyes. Surprisingly, this was probably my most relaxed shoot EVER. It was nice to not have to stress out about things or worry about what my "client" thinks of the job I am doing. It was natural, as if I was just chillin with my brother! So here you are Ryan and your momma, I hope you love them!

Ryan. This shoot was fun! I love getting to know people I don't know very well a little better. I have known Ryan for a little while, but I got the opportunity to get to know him more! I loved it. Plus it helped me to gain a little confidence in "telling my models what to do". Which is always awkward for me!

The youngest of the three Horn Boys=Stephen. A young man with an astounding gift to get people to laugh without even trying. He is Hilarious and these are his very non traditional Senior Pictures. He went with the "I don't want my pictures like everyone elses" card, so we did just that. He is not weird or anything, he just knows how to work his funny side.

The Vacation!!

Here we are on the road! It has been a super fun time so far and it has only been driving...We left Great Falls on Thursday morning and drove to Rapid City, SD. We went to Mount Rushmore and the reptile gardens, then drove to Souix Falls. But not before we went to Wall Drug...one word describes that place...Disorganized...but super big and fun! We made it to St. Louis tonight and we are going to see some sweet things tonight. I am super excited.
The biggest highlight of the trip thus far probably had to be going to Sturgis! How exciting!

Here before you are the most AMAZING three children around! I have known and loved these kids for about two years and it was definitely my pleasure to photograph them! Madison-5 Sydney-3 and Schaefer-2, and of course their beautiful parents let me come over and do pictures at their home. IT WAS AMAZING TOO! Matt and Ashley I hope you enjoy these pictures!

Yet another Birthday Party!!!

This little lady turned Two on saturday...you may recognize her from...oh...the last post! Karlie had her birthday party and it was pretty fun!! Me, being a water nerd, loved the fact that it was at the swimming pool! I didn't swim, but still being around it was still fun! Of course, being two, little Karlie is no longer in my classroom...bummer...but I still get to see her everyday just next door!

Sunday I did a session with yet another family from work! This family, I have grown to love a lot. First of all, their little girl, Karlie is amazing. She is so so funny and she is really smart! I will probably say this about a lot of the kids I shoot, but she is one of my favorites! I love her to death. So, pictures were fun, except, I didn't change the settings back from the Cowboy shoot, so the first half of them were pretty messed up. I was not too impressed with myself at the time when I found them. I fixed the problem half way through and finished off well!

Little Cowboy

I have a friend from work with a kid who is hilarious. I like him a lot. He is totally a cowboy, but only in the way he dresses...he loves to wear his boots and hat...even in 90 degree weather! So this shoot was a HUGE learning experience for me...here is what I learned: Don't mess around with your cameras settings the day before a shoot. I had my ISO turned WAY up and all of his pictures well, didn't turn out too well. But here is one that did turn out pretty good and I guess will be a "sneak peek"

I probably had THE most amazing time with these three kids! They are hilarious. They are unpredictable. They are fun. I took them Friday night all over town and had a blast. I never knew I would have this much fun with kids half my age!! They all have such different personalities and it was exciting to hang out with them! I would have to say that the middle child (aerosmith shirt) was definitely the "funny" one. He wanted me to take SO many pictures of him and his "serious" poses...I had to keep a few! So here you are Susie...I hope you enjoy them.

So, for about a month now we have been trying to get together to do pictures on a decent day. After about 5 cancellations due to poopy weather, we tried this morning. It was clear and warm around 7, but our meeting wasn't till 9:30...and by then, the sky had turned a shade of gray that was all to familiar to us. So I decided that I would just go for it anyway and see how I would do under pressure! Little Breahnna is like mentioned before an amazing child. I love her and her little personality. She is so stinkin cute, and her parents are equally fabulous!!! So here are some of their pictures!

Children are definitely the light of my life. I just forgot how much I loved them until yesterday. I had my first "child" session with AJ, a boy from the work place, and it was crazy-fun! He was so energetic and really into sticks and birds. It was pretty fun! This is also a little father's day gift I believe so we got Mom in on the action. I also work with Lacey and I think she is a amazing person, plus she is way easy to photograph!!

This was a really fun birthday party for a sweet little girl from my work. I love her to death, and she has the most AMAZING attitude. I am a sucker for attitude problems. I think they are hilarious! Plus she is so fun to be around! So I got the priveledge to take pictures of her birthday party and it was really fun. It reminded me of my childhood. Especially the big water balloon fight at the end.

The day of my sister's reception...TODAY...I have been working working on it with the family all morning and just had to sneak away to use the computer! No one will know till they read this!!! Ha. So it's going great, decorating, stress, beautiful centerpeices, Stress, and Stress! Not me of course, I handle myself different when other people are stressed out! It's kind of nice actually. Mom and a sister are super stressed so what do I do? Make jokes and make it easier on myself when dealing with them!!!

The Wedding

Here it is, the moment I have been waiting for, for like 3 months. I have been preparing and practicing and I am so glad that I did. My sister finally got married. It was ... uh... interesting (I guess that would be the proper wording). Yet so so fun! I loved hanging out with the whole family as well as do one more session that would boost my confidence and picture-take-ability!

This little bundle of joy was born on April 22, 2009!!! She is soooo tiny!!! Her wonderful mommy let me do my first "real" session. I say "real" because this was the first person I have photographed that wasn't one of my sisters! She was really sweet and awake for most of the time, till the very end when she got exhausted from posing so much!! So here you go Jonikka, I hope you like them!

Sierra is a sophomore in High school, and she is also one of my very favorite sisters. (They all are though). We have a bond that no one else has like us and that is what makes her so special to me. I also just love the fact that she will let me take lots and lots of pictures whenever I want!!!

I got the amazing privilege to get to take some engagement pictures of my sister and her fiance. We were in Missoula (where she lives) and we were looking for some sweet area to take pictures in when we stumbled upon this beautiful little park thing. I love the look of it because the park seems so lifeless until you add two people who are madly in love with each other. It just brings love out and shows us that there can be love where there is no life.
